Well, I done got a virus called Qoobox trying to download a driver for a 30" dell monitor I got for Christmas (god damnit). Learned my lesson there. Tried a couple of anti Malware sites and they aren't even recognizing it. PCprocleaner is the host site I believe.

Luckily I don't have too much on the hard drive so I could reformat if I have to.

But I am wondering if any of you might know a better solution.

I can't really help you remove it.. but what I would do is reformat the computer this time, and then go buy an extra hard drive in case of a next time.

I have two HD's in my computer, 128g SSD as my C drive and a regular 500g HDD. I keep anything important on the HDD and wipe the SSD every few months, it keeps my computer running smooth.

Malware programs don't always include an antivirus program. What antivirus program you have? Their website should have a virus removal tool. I use Bitdefender and they do have a free virus removal tool. I'd try that before I reformat.

PCprocleaner was the antivirus that was installed when I downloaded the drivers. But it will not let me uninstall it.
So I'm not really sure what is going on.

The free Malwarebytes didn't regester as showing any threats to my comp. I'll try the other site tonight and see.

We tried a combatfix too but that didn't get it either.

Google Fucked me with this one because it was the first website to click on that introduced the drivers. Why would they have a website first on the list that included malware. That shit pisses me off.
