I have never had a BBS shade.

I have three different VPN programs, HTC had banned the IPs of a few servers from some of them, I discovered this by accident forgetting I had the VPN software engaged and going to the HTC forum, and having it give me the "this address has been banned" and not let me in. Funny stuff, obviously some have made shade/fake accounts and used the same VPN IP to make trouble there, haha.
I've not had had shade either, the same bbs name since 2000, but I can see why one would, especially for getting PNG'd for some ridiculous forum rule reason.
