Question about IL2 BoS

Can I shoot down "friendlies" in that game? I'm getting tired of not being able to do so in AH2. I want every motherfucker in the sky to try and murder me with extreme aggression, not come zooming in at 400+mph to kill the guy that I am very clearly having an epic fight with.


I want the ability to slightly customize your own icon. I will put in big bold letters above my icon "DO NOT HELP!" so all friendlies know to stay the hell away from me. Yes, there are 10 planes all trying to kill me. Yes, I am very likely to die here. No, I do not want your help. Yes, I understand that a 2v10 is numerically better than 1v10. No, I still do not care. Yes, all these plane are in fact mine, go find your own or wait up there at 10K until after I died. If you dive in to try and "help" I will wait until you get low and slow with us and bail out to leave you to your fate

Hah good question. I have it but haven't actually played it yet. I wish we could shoot friendlies in Aces High, I fucking hate nothing more than having some fgt in a bomber take off and drop the fighter hangars at the base I was just having a great fight in between. I would kill every friendly bomber in site during a good fighter mix up if I could.

If you play on the hard-core sim you may. I like it but be warned it is fairly hrd?
