You finally decided to try DCS Bathrobe? How is it?  It's insane! I used to be one of those people who said AH2 was the peak of WW2 combat sims but I have to take that back now. DCS is the peak! The graphics are superb, the flight modeling is awesome, and the damage modeling really blows me away! if DCS servers can get up to past AH2 numbers (2006-2008) then there would simply be no competition. Ah2, WT, Il2... they'd all go bankrupt. |

lol totally different Kappa. War Thunder (Gaijin) are in it for the money grab. DCS (Eagle Dynamics) seem to be passionate about their work. Both are Russian.

The biggest concern I've had about jumping into DCS is there's only 3 fighters in the WWII collection, so I can imagine feeling the combat was a little stale after a while.

When you get tired of those you can always jump to the F-86/Mig-15. By the time you wear out those two you might decide you're interested in some of their more modern aircraft, I know the Mig 21 is high on my list when I get around to DCS. Same with the Mirage 2000 and F-14 models they're working on now. |

So I have been trying my best to stay out of all the Skyyr drama but it's finally reached a point where I am too damn curious.

So I have been trying my best to stay out of all the Skyyr drama but it's finally reached a point where I am too damn curious. What happened with Skyyr? The dumbass forgot to turn off his twitch stream before he started having his squadmates use a shade account to hunt down and grief this one player by telling Skyyr exactly where he was at and what plane he was in so Skyyr and his goons could gang up on him no matter where he went. Whenever he go onto Skyyr's 6 he'd have his shade account squaddie fly in front of his guns to try and make him killshoot. They did this for over an hour until the guy logged off in frustration. Everything was automatically saved by twitch and someone saw the recording and brought it to the communities attention. Skyyr tried to cover it up by deleting the video hoping it would all go away but several people already saved the video. Skyyr then threw his own squadmates under the bus to try and save his own skin but HTC just banned all of them. It was quite hilarious watching Skyyr try to save himself and then when he was banned the shear rage in his posts from his own stupidity getting himself banned was even greater!  Something else that was quite funny is Skyyr's reputation is so bad that some people in DCS even know of him. Was in the WW2 server one night and someone recognized me. He asked some questions about how AH2 was doing and then asked whatever happened with Skyyr. Told him the whole story and the entire server started laughing at him and his stupidity. |

For WW2 I'm either in ACG WW2 server or Burning Skies WW2 server, whichever has the most people in it at the time.

Mind you I haven't been able to fly much lately, so maybe you have been there or changed your ingame name. I see you still haven't changed your sig on the AHBB although you have posted quite a bit. Still says The Damned...why is that? |
