Hey how hard is it to get into flying WD. Don't want arcade part just the real no icon sim. Also do u have to buy those plane to fly?

If you've never played WT before, it's going to be a bit of a nuisance as you have to research planes and modifications to unlock them and their full potential. So no, no money involved but a lot of grinding. When you get in the game setting up your controls is pretty self-explanatory. Sim mode is under the "Events and Tournaments" tab on the top right of the screen.
If you don't mind spending a few dollars once or twice, the best way to grind out new planes is to buy one of the premiums on the right side of the research tree, they give you a nice research point bonus so you can get to the planes you really want much quicker.
Also it's not a sim by any means, while there are a few aspects that provide more immersion than Aces, the flight models and physics engine are severely lacking. If you want the real deal pick up a copy of IL2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad or DCS: World.
